TRANSFERS are adhesive-backed letters that are used for creating high-quality color comprehensives and logo prototypes in the advertising and design industry. Created by Letraset in the early sixties, the colors are matched by eye and produced manually. This process is similar to silkscreen, we don't use computers.

SPECIALTY COLORS AND SURFACES ARE DOUBLE the listed prices above. These include: High gloss varnishes, transparent tints, super -opaque, gold and silver foils ( reflective ), pearls, flourescents, etched glass, composites and prints.
WE NEED BLACK AND WHITE HARD COPY. This means that the image must be solid black on white paper. We cannot shoot film from color copies, gray tones or halftones. E-MAIL and DISKS can be sent to our vendor, COPY SERVICE. This can take an additional day and cost more. Call us for their phone number. FEDERAL EXPRESSing the hard copy to us is usually the most economical and timely.
NORMAL TURNAROUND TIME IS 24 HOURS from the time of job arrival in our shop. PRINTS on paper or mylar, and COMPOSITE TRANSFERS take at least 48 hours depending on complexity. RUSH SERVICE is available on all jobs for 100% of job total for same day and 200% for 2-4 hours.
We can match virtually any color. The standard used most commonly is the PANTONE MATCHING SYSTEM and the TOYO COLOR SYSTEM. Use the Printer's Guide for the correct color number. We are able to match all the metallics as well as flourescents in these systems. We can also match to custom swatches or fabric if necessary, as well as create custom color.
TRANSFERS can be applied to paper, glass, plexiglass, metal wood walls and fabric using a spoon tip burnisher. Spray after rubbing down using a spray fixative such as Krylon Crystal Clear available from us or an art store. Use 5-10 light sprays, drying in between.
